Profile

Patrick Schlauer was born in 1994 in south-western Styria and has lived in Graz for many years. He studied journalism and PR, media competence and digital literacy as well as German studies.
Since 2019, he has been working as a freelance copywriter and PR practitioner. In 2022, his work was recognized with the PR-Panther, the Styrian state prize for communication.
Schlauer has also been working as a children's book author since 2023 (Lexi und das Ruckzuckel (2023), Kili und das Zauberzebra (2024)).
In 2024, his path led him back to FH JOANNEUM, where he works as a lecturer for PR and corporate communications. His main focus: PR basics and conception, corporate communication, text competence and storytelling.
