Sabrina Kuchling has been working as a Senior Expert in the Department of Statistics and Analytical Epidemiology at the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety since 2012. Since 2023, she has been a lecturer in Econometrics & Financial Market Analysis in the Bachelor’s program in Banking and Insurance Management.
Her core competencies include statistical modeling (application of generalized linear mixed models, Generalized Estimating Equations, quantile regression) and the development of forecasting models using machine learning methods. Sabrina Kuchling is responsible for statistical analyses in various research projects (FFG, COMET-K, KIRAS, DAFNE). She has gained teaching experience at FH Joanneum Bad Gleichenberg and through seminar sessions at the European Food Safety Authority in Parma.
Sabrina Kuchling completed her Master’s degree in Technical Mathematics with a focus on “Operations Research and Statistics” at Graz University of Technology. Her Master’s thesis involved developing an early warning system for foodborne disease outbreaks using appropriate methods for analyzing these specialized time series.
