I completed my internship from February to May 2022

My tasks during the internship:

• Analysis of administrative data from the eHealth area and subsequent creation of reports for the management level with the goal of continuous optimization of the medical care centers
• Research of a service plan program with additional conceptualization of a cost plan and an evaluation matrix
• Research and testing of secure messaging services for medical use
• Creation of an organizational chart of the entire Sanecum Group including all medical care centers
• Design and management of monthly newsletters for internal information exchange
• Research of intranet providers and structuring of an intranet
• Preparation of various items for product information management
• Ongoing support for day-to-day business activities

Why I enjoyed my internship:

I enjoyed the internship because I was able to apply what I had learned from my studies to my everyday work. I got many impressions of professional life and was always able to participate in all meetings, both internal exchanges and product presentations.

What I have learned:

I can take many points with me from my internship, be it communication with employees from the various locations as well as with external parties. Furthermore, I was able to build up a lot of knowledge through the above-mentioned areas of responsibility.

Cool experiences and successes:

A very cool experience was that I visited the DMEA fair in Berlin with my internship supervisor. At the fair, many large companies but also startups are presented and you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with them. The visit was also very helpful for my bachelor thesis, because many providers from the DiGA directory and telemedicine directory were also on site. Another experience were the 2 practice days in the dialysis in Billstedt (Hamburg).

How I got the internship:

I became aware of my internship through Katarina Saric (former Master’s student). She had done an internship abroad in Hamburg a year before and I then inquired which jobs she would recommend to me.
