What I studied:
⭐ My job: Sales and Account Manager at KNAPP AG in Hart bei Graz, Austria
Me in three emojis:
🌍 Global mindset and cultural awareness
🤝 Collaboration and responsible leadership
🎯 Strategic focus and goal orientation
In my free time: I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, staying up to date by following the news and reading newspapers as well as doing sports such as running, padel tennis, golf, skiing or going to the gym.
The coolest internship/project was: I liked it most if we had the chance to collaborate with companies and either work on their projects or real life challenges.
I spent my semester abroad in: Lisbon, and it was one of the best experiences ever.
When I was little, I wanted to be a professional skier, today I am a sales manager.
The best food on campus: Das Eggenberg
My favorite spot on campus: Spritzerstand 😉
If my studies were a song/film/animal/superpower, it would be: A leopard, a very adaptable species – in the studies you gain knowledge in various fields of business, meaning that we have a very broad spectrum of job possibilities. And the leopard is a good-looking animal 😉
What you definitely learn in my study programme: Work together in teams, be stress resistant, delegate tasks, take responsibility, finish tasks on time even if it might sound super hard at the beginning.
This course was a challenge for me: No struggles, just challenges that make you better.
Fun fact from my studies? Useless knowledge? In the 1950s Argentina was wealthier than Australia.
Be curious, open-minded and well-organized, then it will be exciting.
I work as a Sales Manager and Sales Project Lead, holding commercial responsibility for projects. I coordinate, together with engineering and our international subsidiaries, the development of customized solutions for our clients – from quotations and calculations to successful project completion. I am also responsible for comprehensive client support and implementing measures for customer acquisition.
I discovered this position on KNAPP’s career page. My studies helped me particularly with presentation skills, working in international teams, strategic thinking, meeting strict deadlines, and gaining broad business knowledge.
What I value most in my job is the international scope and the variety of projects. Key skills for my role include organizational talent, analytical thinking, accuracy, assertiveness, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. My next goal is to step into a leadership role. During my studies, I worked 16 hours per week, which was well manageable.
