Opinion of participants
To ensure that you get off to the best possible start at FH JOANNEUM, the International Relations Office offers a range of orientation packages. These are available to exchange students as well as international degree seeking students and trainees.
Participation in one of our orientation packages is mandatory for exchange students.
Please note that we cannot provide additional individual support for administrative issues covered during the orientation programme sessions if you do NOT participate in the orientation programme.
This basic package covers all administrative topics relevant to your stay in Austria and at FH JOANNEUM in various information sessions.

Have fun before the semester begins! This package offers a great opportunity to get to know Graz, Styria, and your new fellow students in a relaxed atmosphere.

Cost: EUR 180,–

The time before the semester begins is used to start an intensive language course to prepare for studying at FH JOANNEUM. With 60 teaching units (twice as many as a two-hour semester course), German language skills are improved in a pleasant atmosphere. If you have no previous knowledge of German, this intensive course will teach you the basics you need to immerse yourself in your studies.
