Bendt / Door Handle

A door handle that subtly shows the origins of its ergonomic shape. A stainless steel round profile is cut in half and forged into its final shape through partial heating and bending. The ergonomic curvature is created by the excess material that comes from the shorter radius of curvature from the inner half of the profile.
