How do we want to shape our society in the future?
Our Students of the Communication Design master’s degree also explored this question. In a workshop together with the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (KSADA, Ukrainian: ХДАДМ), the students designed DEMOCRACY POSTERS based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights under the direction of lecturer Illya Pavlov and Professor Oleg Veklenko.
The exhibition Democracy, heast! combines current discourse with Graz’s urban history; it offers information and opportunities to share one’s own opinions and experiences; it gives impulses to think about democracy and opens up space for questions. And it makes it clear: it’s not just about being loud – listening is also essential. Heast?!
