Demographic change requires new mobility solutions. These often relate to the younger generations. However, there are too few new approaches for the limited mobility of the older population in particular.
This master’s thesis outlines a solution that improves the social participation and independence of older people in the urban environment. Through a human-centred design approach, the needs and preferences of the older generation are to be comprehensively taken into account. This will contribute to a more inclusive and equitable urban environment.
