Through time

“Durch die Zeit“ (Through time) is an interactive children’s book that is based on a 2010 play by the puppet theatre company “Srce“. Seven girls between the ages of ten and fourteen drew the audience’s attention to the problem of environmental pollution with their performance, which was created entirely by themselves.

As a project of this bachelor’s thesis, a revised version of the original play was written and transformed into an illustrated children’s book. On twenty-three pages, readers have the opportunity to discover the story and help shape the book themselves. In addition to the course of the project, this project documentary answers the question of how to promote children’s creativity in times of digitalisation. The aim is to teach them about sustainability in a playful manner.
