About a typeface which seeks theory, and elegantly and perceptively sends it out into the world.
Typography is a centuries‒old craft which in the traditional sense stems from the art of printing books with moveable letters. With time, an enormous amount of design scope related to typeface has developed. When designing and working with typefaces however, one still uses the original terms and methods.
The goal of this thesis was to develop a contemporary display typeface which reflects the present age, as well as to analyze how different elements interact with each other, and why humans have to intervene for optical or aesthetical reasons.
