FOREST BLOCKS / Playing freely

Project Work in cooperation with Weitzer Woodsolutions

FOREST BLOCKS / Freies Spielen

Playing freely supports a child's development. Thus, the FOREST BLOCKS offer children from the ages of five years and up a modular and open-ended game for building structures of various kinds. Each kit primarily represents an abstracted tree made from the pressed wood scraps of the original it represents. An additional app adds gamification aspects to the building process as an option, with the aim of further educating about trees and forests. In this way, children can play freely, and in the process, develop a sense of closeness to nature from the midst of their play rooms.
