How do you create volume from a flat surface?
PIRONA is a hanging lamp which transforms single wooden panels into sculptural light objects without using any bolts or screws. This is only achieved by slanted cuts. The minimized waste in production and easy shipping adds to the qualities of the lamp. The 5-axis milling machine is the only effective way to accomplish the angled cuts.
