Much has already been said and written on the subject of sales, store design, and architectural aspects in retail, especially in the textile sector. If one wants to start a business in the fashion industry, there are a lot of things to consider in order to achieve the desired success.
In this master’s thesis, the planned retail fashion store Mood‒Est is developed and designed. The shop is located in the centre of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The design of the shop is based on elements from nature and certain geometric shapes. Unusually for a women’s fashion shops, the ambience of the Mood‒Est store is not dominated by typically feminine colors and rounded shapes. The aim is to attract customers who already have a refined taste, which means women who have a good sense of fashion and have already developed their own style, which is quite diverse and recognisable.
