SOLMATE / Mini Photovoltaic Plant Nomination State Prize 2019

SOLMATE is the world's first mini photovoltaic system with an integrated energy storage system. In the future, it will enable a broader section of the population to actively participate in energy generation. With SOLMATE, for the first time it will be possible for part of the urban population in particular to live out their personal convictions and reduce their own CO2 emissions. The product is designed as an outdoor balcony system and is aimed at tenants and apartment owners who do not have their own roof area. The product is primarily designed to feed the self-generated energy into one's own household. Thanks to the plug-and-play principle, the device can be put into operation without qualified personnel. The photovoltaic panels are mounted on the balcony railing. Master thesis in cooperation with EET.Graz
