The Line / Seating Furniture

A furniture for the MAK
Automatisch gespeicherter Entwurf 496

The Line is a project that rethinks the topic of museum furniture by turning the production process of a piece of seating furniture into an exhibition concept. The visitors to the museum and the exhibition are actively involved in the production and recycling cycle. In the museum, plastic waste is deliberately collected and the seating furniture is produced from this raw material with the help of a 3-D printing process. This creates a certain bond with the object produced. The resulting piece of furniture can then be used as a seat during a visit to the museum.
