Next-Gen Lab
The NextGen Lab was established in cooperation with SAP and is devised as a creative zone for generating and designing new ideas. This creative spirit is used in particular by our service engineering research group in developing new service-based business models. The creative processes are supported and promoted by the innovative design and state-of-the-art digital equipment of the SAP NextGen Lab.
The practical workshops carried out as part of the NextGen Lab introduce students to a range of creativity techniques and make them familiar with methods and tools for business model development, including the Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas and the St. Gallen Business Model Navigator. Another key focus of the NextGen Lab is the design thinking approach followed in the development of new ideas and problem solving strategies.
