Astrid Schilcher

Astrid Schilcher is the co-owner of Schilcher & Straight Consulting, a Graz-based consulting firm specializing in sales and sales strategy. She works with clients from various industries, with a strong focus on SMEs in the industrial and technical sectors.
Before transitioning into self-employment, Astrid worked for 10 years at an insurance company, where she held positions in broker support and planning and auditing departments before establishing and leading sales controlling. Prior to that, she spent one and a half years as a customer advisor at a bank.
In 2000, Astrid completed her studies in Economics at the Karl-Franzens University, earning a Master’s degree. Over 20 years later, she is now studying PELP (Political, Economic, and Legal Philosophy) at KFU Graz purely out of personal interest. Additionally, Astrid is a guest lecturer at FH Joanneum and FH Campus 02.
Astrid also pursues her passion for writing as an author. When she isn’t working with clients, lecturing in classrooms, or working on her next novel, she enjoys running to generate new ideas.
