Christoph Fuchs

Christoph Fuchs completed his training as a certified health care and nursing professional in Graz from 2010 to 2013. In 2018, he completed his further training as an academically certified expert in intensive care at the Medical University of Graz. Parallel to his professional activities, he obtained a bachelor's degree in Health and Nursing Management from Carinthia University of Applied Sciences from 2019 to 2022 and a master's degree in Health Management and Integrated Care from the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland from 2023 to 2025. During his master's studies, he deepened his knowledge of case and care management as well as the design of cross-sector care models.

He began his professional career in 2014 at the University Hospital Graz in a surgical intensive care unit specialising in cardiac and transplant surgery. There, he gained extensive experience in highly specialised intensive care and interdisciplinary collaboration. From 2022 to 2026, he headed the acute care department at the PHC Medius, where he was responsible for operational planning, organisation and management of an interdisciplinary team, as well as helping to shape strategic processes.

Practice, management and science form the basis of his teaching activities.

He has been a university lecturer since 2026.
