Profile

Claudia Wieser-Chatzievagelou holds a bachelor's degree in nursing science from the Medical University of Graz and a master's degree in nursing education at the Karl-Franzens-University Graz.

After completing a general health and nursing diploma, she gained practical experience in an acute setting. She worked in two different clinics at the University Hospital Graz until 2012, focusing on the surgical and oncological clinical setting.
Chronic wounds and the associated special wound care is another focus of Claudia Wieser-Chatzievagelou, in this regard the further training in wound management according to §64 GuKG was completed in April 2023. In order to be able to take a holistic view of the complex clinical picture of the chronic wound, the basic aroma care training course was also completed in accordance with Section 63 GuKG and Section 104 GuKG.

From 2012 to 2018 she taught at the School for Health and Nursing of the Province of Styria.

Since 2018 Claudia Wieser-Chatzievagelou has worked as a university lecturer at the Institute for Health and Nursing.
