Corinna Engelhardt-Nowitzki has been Scientific Director of FH JOANNEUM since 1 May 2023. She was previously Head of Department Industrial Engineering and Program Director Bachelor & Master Mechatronics/Robotics and Deputy Program Director Master International Business and Engineering at FH Technikum Wien.
She completed her studies in Biology / Business Administration in her hometown. She obtained her doctorate at the Montanuniversität Leoben, where she was a university professor for Industrial Logistics. As an FH professor at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Steyr Campus, she promoted the development of applied research for the area of Supply Chain Management. During her career, she gained industrial experience at Microsoft and Siemens, among others.
Corinna Engelhardt-Nowitzki is married and has two children. In her free time, she sails and is passionate about music: she has played the piano since childhood, sings in a choir and composes music pieces.
