Evelyn Bauer
Profile
Evelyn Bauer completed her law studies at the University of Graz (KFU). After working in Germany, she continued her professional career in 1999 at Steiermärkische Bank und Sparkassen AG in Graz. Following several years as a legal advisor in the bank’s legal department, focusing on general law, banking law, consumer protection law, and corporate law, she has been leading the General Secretariat since 2019. Her main areas of responsibility include legal and regulatory compliance as well as corporate governance.
Evelyn Bauer has extensive experience as both an internal and external trainer in all key legal areas relevant to banking. She has also served as a university lecturer at the University of Graz (KFU) in the Institute for Banking & Finance, teaching banking law.
