Madeleine Hödl

Madeleine Hödl is a lecturer at the Department of Management, teaching in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Banking and Insurance. Her teaching focuses primarily on the insurance sector, particularly on innovative business models and digital transformation in the financial sector.

In addition to over ten years of professional experience in the financial industry, including working at an internationally operating major bank and one of the leading insurers in the private health insurance sector, Ms. Hödl began an academic career while working in 2012.

After completing the Bachelor’s program in Banking and Insurance at FH JOANNEUM in 2015, she studied the didactics of business-related subjects at the University of Graz, where she attended lectures in economics education. To specialize in the financial sector, particularly regarding banks and insurance companies, she graduated with a Master’s degree in Banking and Insurance Management from FH JOANNEUM. She currently leads the IT & Processes department at an Austrian regional bank.
