In 2000, Maria Wallner-Kleindienst began her diploma studies in "Construction Planning and Economics" at FH JOANNEUM. Since she had always been interested in research and teaching, she decided to pursue a part-time Master's degree in Project Management in Construction at the Styrian Construction Academy (BAUAkademie Steiermark) after graduating from the university. During her doctoral studies in Industrial Engineering and Construction at TU Graz, she focused intensively on the topic of "Performance Deviations in Planning Services." From 2007 to 2023, she worked at Stempkowski Construction Management & Economics Consulting GmbH.
Since 2017, she has been working as an expert consultant, addressing planning and construction management issues. She specializes in the development of temporary project organizations, the drafting of planning and construction contracts, and the handling of performance deviations in construction and planning services. As a dispute resolution specialist and business mediator, she prioritizes a collaborative approach. Recent major projects include the North Hospital in Vienna, the renovation of the Parliament building in Vienna, and the Liezen Regional Hospital.
