Tuition Fee Waiver
The European Joint Master programme in Digital and Sustainable Manufacturing Engineering will launch for the first time in the winter semester 2026/27. This is a joint study program (offered by FH JOANNEUM, Mondragon University, ESTIA, and Koszalin University of Technology) developed within the framework of the EU4Dual alliance. For the start of the program in autumn 2026, FH JOANNEUM is offering one tuition-free study place.
The application is open to all interested parties with a valid residence permit for the EU. The call is particularly aimed at women as well as individuals from war-torn countries and DAC countries (“least developed countries“). For applicants from non-EU countries, a valid residence permit in Austria is required.

- Apply directly to Mondragon University
- Immediately after applying, contact the FH JOANNEUM representative, Klaus Zamazal (klaus.zamazal@fh-joanneum.at), via email with the subject line: “Application for the Austrian Fee Waiver”.
- In the email, include a brief letter of motivation and also indicate whether you would still be interested in the program without the tuition fee waiver.
The application deadline is August 31, 2026.
