What is the admissions process?

The admissions process consists of:

  • a complete application,
  • an assessment of the online portfolio by the admissions committee,
  • an online interview with the admissions committee and
  • an assessment of previous qualifications and practical professional experience.

The form of the application will also be taken into consideration.

You will be invited to an interview if you meet the entry requirements and your application documents and online portfolio are complete and were submitted on time.

The online interview

All candidates are invited to a interview. You are given the opportunity to demonstrate both your knowledge in the field of interaction design and your motivation, suitability and talent for the chosen course of study and a subsequent career in this field.

The admissions interview will be held online via video call. At the beginning of the online interview the applicant must confirm that no unauthorised aids are used and no one else is present to help. The applicant must also present official photo identification.

The interview will be conducted by key staff from the Institute of Design & Communication. It will last around 20 minutes.

You will receive an email with detailed information about the interview in good time before the interview.

Assessment of previous qualifications and professional experience

Relevant professional experience and continuing education are taken into account as additional criteria for admission.
