How I found my current job:

I found my job while writing my Master’s thesis for HOERBIGER KT Asia Pacific. I was appointed to a position in explosion prevention and protection at a company acquired by HOERBIGER.

What I learned for this job during my studies:

The most important thing is to have a cross-functional understanding of all the company processes and procedures. Specialising in a specific area can be helpful but you should always understand the technical and strategic associations and be able to apply fundamental management tools at any time. The International Industrial Management course provides all of this.

Job prospects in my field:

Both the Bachelor’s course in Industrial Management and the Master’s course in International Industrial Management are tailored to the requirements of industry and so finding a job which is both enjoyable and ties in with your career plans is not a problem. This is even easier with sufficient motivation, ambition and flexibility.

I am:

  • target-driven
  • reliable
  • organised

About my job:

For me, it is important that the company trusts in the skills and potential of its employees and permits, values and promotes good ideas for improving the company. A friendly working environment is also important to me because I feel that this increases satisfaction, productivity and innovation. I would like to show students that this course is the ideal springboard for working in such an environment. I would recommend giving some thought to your career goals during the course and to use this as a basis for your decisions about your internship and specialisation.
