What I do:
I look after approx. 350 POS (point of sale) systems in 10 different countries. I work on both technical projects as well as in the service desk field. The tasks are very broad in scope: from software distribution and the further development of POS systems (taking account of the relevant fiscal laws) to the support of mobile devices in the POS environment.
Why I love my job:
I have been fascinated by IT since I was young. The wide range of tasks and ongoing development present me with new challenges to overcome every single day. I particularly enjoy collaborating with my colleagues to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
Important skills in my job:
Team spirit and communication skills are particularly important in my job. Patience and good powers of imagination are required for problem-solving.
My biggest accomplishment so far:
Active involvement in the productive use of the Avatar system. This system makes it easy to guarantee the perfect fit when selling shoes.
How I found my current job:
I applied for the job after seeing an advert, although it was not clear to me initially what it actually involved.
What I learned for this job during my studies:
During my Software Design course, I acquired lots of technical expertise which I can apply each day in my job. I particularly enjoyed the practical work because these exercises are similar to the challenges faced in the professional world.

About my job:
I am currently undertaking various second level support activities. In future, I would like to apply my technical and financial knowledge in the management of IT projects.

How I make studying compatible with my job:
Both can be combined: but there is little free time left. So I like to spend my leisure time with friends and baking cakes.
