My Studies

Semester abroad

A semester abroad is generally possible as part of the Master’s programme in Applied Computer Science; the 4th semester is particularly well suited for this. During this phase, the focus is on the Master’s thesis, the seminar on the Master’s thesis and the final modules, which means that international study or research experience can be effectively combined with in-depth study of the subject.

If there are more applicants than places available, we conduct a selection process, which is managed by the international coordinator. Selection is based on the grade point average.

Where possible, we aim to ensure that the required ECTS credits are earned abroad. If a comparable course is not offered at the partner institution, the examination must be taken as part of the degree programme.

Partner universities

The Institute has a large number of academic partner institutions. Universities are selected primarily on the basis of subject-specific and language-related criteria. The courses, most of which are subject-specific, should predominantly be taught in English.
