The Helix Bike is a folding bike consisting of a 3D-printed aluminium frame. The design is closely linked to the manufacturing process used, enabling efficient production. The innovative folding mechanism is made of aluminium. The complex assembly can be customised and therefore adapted to the needs of the target group. The optimised frame geometry in combination with the aluminium material ensures an extremely low weight.

In his project work, Michael Pfandl designs the Helix Bike, a lightweight folding bike with an efficiently produced, 3D-printed aluminum frame and an innovative folding mechanism that can be customized.
