🎓This is what I studied:

If I hadn’t studied energy management, I would have: ended up in sustainability via many other routes or become a florist.
In my free time, I am involved in / interested in: I like to travel, ride my road bike, do CrossFit, go hiking and buy or sell my clothes on Vinted.
My personal favourite place on campus: Energy Lab
This is how I celebrated my graduation: at Kaiser-Josef-Platz in Graz with a few carafes of Aperol.
Tell us what your job is without telling us what your job is: I make sure that our future is still worth living tomorrow.
You are guaranteed to learn this during your studies: Time management
The best course was: Climate Change and Sustainability Reporting
I struggled a bit with this course: Digital Modelling and Big Data Simulation, Thermal Energy Technology
Enjoy your time at university – it goes by faster than you think and you won’t realise how special it was until later.

I am a sustainability manager and am responsible for all reporting in relation to CSRD reporting requirements. I also take care of meeting customer requirements in the area of sustainability and further developing our ESG and sustainability strategy.
I got my start in this job through a master’s thesis advertisement at the FH from another company, which allowed me to gain practical experience. That’s how I ended up directly in sustainability management at Pankl.
I particularly appreciate the flexibility of my work, the exchange with other sustainability managers and the networking within the company, as ESG connects many areas. It is less pleasant when sustainability is not yet recognised as important everywhere.
A highlight of my career so far has been the publication of our audited sustainability reports – a major milestone that required a lot of coordination and commitment. In the long term, I would like to lead a team, anchor ESG even more firmly in corporations, and work more closely with apprentices and students to make knowledge about ESG tangible and pass it on.
