EATON für intelligentes, sicheres und nachhaltiges Leben 4
Student project with EATON

EATON for smart, safe and sustainable living

,

In the third semester of their BA in International Management, students worked with EATON to identify future trends in energy management in the residential business in Europe.

The students took the roles of consultants in the EATON project and developed a market analysis in the project lecture. The student group consisted of 33 students, who were organised in 5 groups assigned to analyse different EMEA countries.

In their project teams, the students developed strategic analyses, met a EATON representative three times face-to-face and once in a video-conference. After four face-to-face interactions, the student project teams provided EATON with their research findings and recommendations in executive papers. Finally, students presented their research results to EATON at the end of the semester.

Nikolaus Dontscheff, was extremely satisfied with the research results of the students.

The cooperation with the students and lecturer’s in this project was very well organized and gained a learning on both sides (Eaton and University). It was a pleasure for me to observe how the students handled an ambitious topic by understanding first the technical part and implemented this knowledge later in the strategical part. The final report supports Eaton‘s overall strategy in this segment.

Nikolaus Dontscheff, Head of marketing and data management for Eaton's Power Distribution Division

The collaboration with EATON was an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in real project work. The students did a great job and delivered very good results. For more information on the company and their services, please go to http://www.eaton.com/
