FH JOANNEUM celebrated the second anniversary of EU4DUAL with an informative breakfast event.

Two years after the launch of the European university alliance EU4DUAL on 1 January 2023, the EU4DUAL project team welcomed interested colleagues from the university of applied sciences over breakfast. EU4DUAL project manager Roswitha Wiedenhofer-Bornemann presented the most important events and successes of the past EU4DUAL project year and gave an outlook on the most important goals and milestones that the partners have set themselves for 2025.

The goals achieved include the submitted accreditation of the Joint Dual Master’s (Digital & Sustainable Manufacturing), FH JOANNEUM employees that presented papers at the first EU4DUAL annual conference in Malta, six EU 4DUAL research proposals with FH JOANNEUM participation and two of them were accepted, and the first EU4DUAL sustainability report was published under the leadership of FH JOANNEUM.

And there is plenty on the EU4DUAL agenda for 2025: two further joint dual master’s programmes are to be developed, on the topics of Green Economy and Healthy Living. The alliance is also planning to develop a PhD programme on the grand challenges future of work, green economy and healthy living. In general, student and staff mobility should also be strengthened and further expanded. The presentation was followed by a lively exchange among the participants.

The EU4DUAL project team would like to thank everyone for their keen interest in the project and the event.
