1402 / Eyeglass cleaning

1402 is an eyeglass cleaning device that uses rotational force to clean and dry eyeglasses. The method of cleaning eyewear with a microfiber cloth or a wet wipes causes mechanical damage to the optics. These are irreversible and degrade the glasses over time. This eyewear concept does not require mechanical cleaning. The glasses are first rotated through a cleaning liquid without foam additives, and subsequently dried by rotational force. The operation is done by hand with the help of a pulley system.
