Adapt / Autonomous Driving

Project work in cooperation with Magna, Austria
Adapt / Autonomes Fahren

Traffic in the world’s major cities has been steadily increasing for years. The mass of cars not only affects the quality of life of the inhabitants, but also places an enormous burden on the climate in the conurbations. The situation is exacerbated by the rising sales figures of large-volume SUVs, which have a low occupancy rate with a high vehicle weight. The forward-looking vehicle concept MAGNA Adapt attempts to counteract this negative trend. It shows a way in which the L7e vehicle class can gain in attractiveness through the technology of fully autonomous driving. By visibly adapting the vehicle to different driver and environmental conditions, driving comfort and safety come into focus. In this way, missing incentives in micromobility can be compensated.
