David Riegler
Profile
David Riegler studied International Industrial Management and subsequently spent four years working for a leading management consultancy in the field of CFO Advisory. In this role, he supported and managed projects for medium-sized businesses and international corporations. His areas of expertise included the design and implementation of integrated corporate planning processes, the further development of controlling and reporting structures, and finance transformation projects.
Following his consulting career, he moved into industry and initially assumed responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and advising the management team as a Senior Controller at an international logistics company. Today, he works as a Business & Finance Controller at a fast-growing medical technology company. Working closely with the CFO, he supports the development and continuous improvement of the company’s controlling function and financial steering.
As a lecturer at FH JOANNEUM, he combines his practical experience from consulting and industry with the theoretical foundations of controlling and finance.
