Fynn Thilker obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from HAW Hamburg and his Master’s degree from FH JOANNEUM. Since the end of 2023, he has been working as a Research Associate at the Institute of Aviation, where he co-founded the “T&T Aircraft Propulsion Systems” research group together with his colleague Andreas Tramposch.
In parallel, he is pursuing his PhD at Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) at the Institute of Thermal Turbomachinery and Machine Dynamics, focusing on sustainable propulsion concepts.
Alongside supervising student research projects, Fynn conducts research on sustainable propulsion systems with a specialization in gas turbine combustion.
