Where and when did your internship take place?

I did my 6-month internship at Alfredo Häberli Design Development in Zurich. (March to August)

How did you come across Alfredo Häberli?

I came across him because of my interest in design history and furniture design. We also had an online lecture at our university in which Alfredo Häberli showed his studio with its large design collection. I was very impressed by that.

In what way did you benefit from your internship?

After my bachelor studies, the internship was above all a new perspective on things. It was very instructive to see how products are created from the first sketch to the presentation to the customer and beyond. In addition, the internship gave me the opportunity to gain a deep insight into the history of design, art and architecture.

Would you recommend it and why?

I highly recommend the internship at AHDD because you quickly get responsibility for projects that you work on alone. In particular, I worked for companies like Andreu World and LAUFEN. I got a lot of support from Alfredo and his team with all my questions and challenges.

Besides my stay in the studio, I also felt very comfortable in Zurich. (Lake, summer and lovely people ;-)
