The compatibility of studying, working and everyday life places high demands on the self-organisation and management of a part-time Master’s degree programme.
Approximately 50% of the educational objectives defined in the qualification profile and curriculum are realised through traditional teaching with compulsory attendance by students and lecturers at FH JOANNEUM and approximately 50% through online learning scenarios. This split is aimed for in all courses. In addition, students are required to engage in self-organised learning outside of traditional teaching and online learning scenarios.
The online learning scenarios consist of asynchronous parts in self-organisation and a maximum of one third of synchronous online teaching.
The aim is to hold traditional teaching with compulsory attendance in face-to-face format on Thursdays from 16:00, Fridays from 14:00 and Saturdays throughout the day.
The formats in the online setting and in self-organised learning mostly take place in self-organisation outside of attendance time.
