Social Work

Students who are not working complete a 325 hour internship during the first semester, which can be organised flexibly over a period of 16 weeks. The internship can be completed at any social organisation.

This applies in particular to graduates of the FH JOANNEUM Social Work Bachelor’s degree programme. The accompanying seminar at the university should provide them with the best possible support in starting their career. Priority should be given to proper employment relationships rather than training, i.e. pure internships. During the accompanying seminars, our students can also reflect with the group on their initial experiences as young professionals.
