Semester abroad
The third semester of the study track Digital Transformation in Healthcare of the eHealth Master’s degree programme can be completed in Tromsø, the most northerly university city in the world. Our students value the multicultural atmosphere of the Norwegian city and the high quality of teaching. The eHealth and Telemedicine programme run by the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø offers them the opportunity to extend their knowledge whilst gathering and exchanging intercultural experiences. Our International Coordinator advises students about the formalities and particulars to be observed. We organise an information afternoon for those who are interested to meet outgoing students.
How does it work?
You can spend your third semester abroad. This is organised by the eHealth International Coordinator together with the FH JOANNEUM International Office. Working closely with our partner universities, we compare the contents of the degree programmes so that courses can be credited. If the partner institution does not offer a comparable course students must take the relevant exam on their return to Graz.
If there are more applicants than places available, our International Coordinator will organise a selection procedure: selection is decided on the basis of grade point averages.
Partner universities
The Master’s degree programme in eHealth and Telemedicine has been developed by the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø in cooperation with the Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine (NST), a telemedicine institution recognised by eHealth experts worldwide. Our students gain insights into a promising professional field and area of research, and are able to draw parallels with the present state of eHealth in Austria.
