As part of RADIUS, YOLO models are used to detect, classify and sort objects in real time – components, packages, etc. This makes production and logistics processes more efficient, safer and more sustainable. The processes transfer research directly into practice: higher quality, fewer errors, intelligent automation in production, quality control and shipping.

With OVERLAYS, the esc medien kunst labor was transformed into a vibrant space filled with ideas, experimentation, and encounters. Students of the Master’s program Communication, Media, Sound & Interaction Design presented their final projects, revealing what emerges when creative disciplines intersect and their boundaries begin to dissolve.

Roboexotica 2025: When Robots Mix Drinks and Bake Pancakes

From December 11 to 14, 2025, the Kunsttankstelle Ottakring turned into the stage for Roboexotica, the oldest festival for media and digital art in Vienna. At its center were interactive AI installations and cocktail robots that unexpectedly intertwined technology, art, and gastronomy.
