Airlift / Working Platform

Palfinger Airlift uses expandable and compressible volume technology, to create a compact pneumatic work platform with minimal transport dimensions. As an alternative to bulky scaffolding and heavy scissor lifts, Airlift offers large-area bellows that support a platform reinforced with drop stitch fabric, making compressed air the load-bearing element instead of hydraulics - true to the motto From Oil to Air. Downward tension belts counteract the bellows pressure and enable a stable walk-on working platform. Technical components such as radial fans and accumulators increase stability through their position in the chassis, while the railings are tensioned by light belts. In transport condition, the Airlift can be moved manually by one person even through doors and narrow interior spaces and delivered in a van or boot.
