The conception and prototyping of a Smart Home system as a user interface for the Internet of Things
The prototype which was created during the course of this master’s thesis offers numerous opportunities for expansion, as well as scope for more complex automations for the users, who can also integrate further scenarios. More and more devices in a household can be connected to a network through the connectivity possibilities on offer. The basis of a Smart Home concept is created through insights into existing Smart Home systems, diary studies and investigations in the fields of the Internet of Things and Smart Home.
