The challenge was to develop a game together in a group within just under 48 hours, based on one of the predefined overarching themes. The topics were mobility, food, climate change adaptation and energy.
There, our students (Albrecht Hannah, Gvivradze Mariam, Dominik Völkel, Mehmet Çolak) came up with a concept in the first few hours and then divided their tasks to work independently on the development of the game. The plan was to create a child-friendly game that teaches players not to unnecessarily waste energy and actively take control of their own energy consumption.
At the end of the event, each team and the organizers selected their favorite project , and Ecoghost received the most votes.
The students learned a lot of new skills and gathered teamwork experience over this weekend, and are grateful for the opportunity.
