Expedition Anger

A travelling exhibition on aversive emotions for school children.

Expedition Wut 9

The ability to regulate emotions is considered a basic building block for the psychosocial health of a society. In order to promote the conscious handling of anger already in childhood, a travelling exhibition on the topic of anger was designed for school children in cooperation with the Department of Educational Psychology of the Kirchliche Pädagogische Hochschule der Diözese Graz-Seckau (KPH).

The travelling exhibition, which has been prepared for specific ages, provides information on emotion regulation and offers an appreciative framework for dealing with the topics of anger, annoyance and rage, while also strengthening problem-solving skills in the form of coping strategies. It also invites school children to change their perspective and encourages them to critically reflect and become aware of their own bodies by means of different multimedia tools. The travelling exhibition aims to provide primary school children with access to appropriate ways of dealing with aversive emotions and is not only aimed at children and young people, but also at educational staff and the home environment.
