Management & Controlling

Research field

Management & Controlling 1

The Management & Controlling group carries out business research in three subject areas: strategy, controlling, and service engineering.

All (industrial) enterprises must define strategic success potentials and objectives, as well as the means to achieve them. This is done by developing implementation and optimisation processes for strategic planning and business focus. For over 20 years now, the group has investigated modern methods and approaches to controlling, both through contract research projects as well as publications in more than 100 scientific and trade journals produced in cooperation with international networks.

Service engineering includes the systematic development of (product-related) services using engineering and business management methods.
