Interaction Design

If you want to apply for this Master’s degree programme you need to have

• a relevant Bachelor’s degree or
• equivalent qualification.

The programme is taught in English. Proficiency in this language is a requirement.

Detail on the admission requirements

An example of a relevant bachelor’s degree programme is currently the Bachelor’s programme in Information Design offered by FH JOANNEUM.

Graduates of

• technical,
• artistic,
• humanities,
• social sciences,
• economics,
• natural sciences and
• interdisciplinary programmes

at universities, technical universities or art universities with a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diplom degree will be admitted if:

• 80 ECTS credits from their previous studies largely correspond to the core subject areas of the Bachelor’s programme in Information Design at FH JOANNEUM or a comparable relevant degree programme, and
• at least one of the following eligibility criteria is met:
  • Relevant professional experience spanning a period of at least two years
  • Assessment of professional aptitude based on the submitted portfolio
  • Relevant further training or study modules with a workload equivalent of at least 30 ECTS

The degree must be from a recognised institution of postsecondary education in Austria or abroad.

In ambiguous cases, the head of degree programme will decide whether the candidate meets the admission requirements. You will be notified of the decision once we have received your full set of application documents.
