The list contains only a selection of possible university courses. Other similar fields of study are also permitted. We also welcome applicants who have completed a relevant equivalent degree programme at other universities or in other countries.

If your degree is basically equivalent but you lack specific qualifications, you may attend the course under the condition that you take the relevant examinations during your first year of study. If your previous study contained too few engineering elements, the missing knowledge can be defined and the relevant modules completed on the Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, subject to available resources.

In cases of doubt, the head of degree programme will decide whether the admission requirements are met. You will be notified once we have received your complete application documents.

Language skills

The degree programme is taught in German and English. If you are proficient at level B2 you should have no problem following the classes. Please send us a certificate evidencing your language skills unless these are included in your secondary school leaving certificate or similar diplomas.

Additional information for selecting modules in the first semester

Graduates of engineering management programmes must select the Technology Management module in the first semester. Graduates of engineering degree programmes without previous business knowledge must select the General Management module in the first semester. In the case of courses of study or other degrees where such a distinction does not make much sense (for instance engineering programmes including business courses), the head of the degree programme will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis. If necessary, a combination of the two specialisations set out in the curriculum (Technology Management and General Management) will be offered in the first semester – with the same total number of ECTS credits – in accordance with organisational resources.
