Physiotherapy

You'll enjoy many ‘moving’ moments with us. Our students work to maintain or restore mobility in patients of all ages and circumstances. Join us and help shape tomorrow's health.

Did you know, …

… that lessons are often held in small groups?

You'll practice your hands-on physiotherapy skill under supervision, in small groups of maximum 16 students.

Did you know, …

… that you'll complete your first internship in your second semester?

Internships give students the chance to practice what they've learnt under supervision in daily working routine. Our students complete their internships in a variety of clinical fields and at different healthcare institutions.

Did you know, …

… you'll complete a physiotherapy project in your sixth semester?

Planning, implementing and evaluating the outcome of a project – you'll do all this in your last semester with us. The project may cover a wide range of topics, but must have a clear physiotherapy focus.

Did you know, …

… that we have a laboratory for analysing movement?

We analyse movements both with our eyes and using additional aids. So in the laboratory you'll learn how to apply both simple and more complex systems of analysis.

Did you know, …

… that you can spend a semester studying abroad?

You'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of physiotherapy and healthcare systems in other countries with an internship or semester spent abroad.

Did you know, …

… that we have a system of mentors and peers?

You'll have peers from the years above you to turn to for support in everyday student life, and a member of teaching staff will be assigned as your mentor. So there’s always somewhere to go at the Institute to help with all your questions.
