My biggest success / my greatest experience

As a radiographer, I am happy when I am able to make an examination as pleasant as possible for the patients. A little ‘Thank you – that wasn’t so bad after all’ at the end of an examination always fills me with pride. I am equally proud of having successfully completed a part-time Master’s degree in Digital Healthcare. This enabled me to address the interface between technology & medicine in more detail and to acquire new skills.

How I found my current job

I came across this job by chance via a fellow student on the Master’s course.

What I learned for this job during my studies:

Aside from the basics such as anatomy, pathology, radiation physics etc. which I learned during my Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, I am also happy about the various internships which offer the chance to ‘find’ your own interests and learn how to deal with patients.

Job prospects in my field:

Following successful completion of the course, there are excellent opportunities for gaining a wide range of jobs in radiology.

I am:

  • target-driven
  • conscientious
  • humorous

The Radiography course is aimed at anyone with an interest in medicine and technology. The job prospects are excellent following successful graduation and the wide range of fields in radiology ensure plenty of variety in your career. The course also provides a good basis for continuing with a Master’s degree, exploring the interface between medicine & technology in more depth without being restricted to the field of radiology alone. This opens up a broad professional field which also allows you to pursue personal or professional interests.
